What's "4+" mean in Virginia 4+ Miler and 4+ Miler Walk?

Our 4 mile run and walk have a new course! From the start line at E.C. Glass High School, participants will follow Langhorne Road and accesses the new Langhorne Road Bridge Trail Extension via Crane Hill Drive. The course then returns the start/finish line on Langhorne Road, experiencing the event’s famous Farm Basket Hill. The distance is approximately 4.5 miles (hence the "4+"!).

Two major perks:
1. These events used to finish in a different location 4 miles from the start, but now they'll cross the finish line at their starting point.
2. Now you'll have more time to enjoy that post-race pizza!

You can explore the new course on the 4+ Miler page on our website: www.virginiatenmiler.com/event-info/virginia-4-miler/
